About the role
This is an entry level position for a recent graduate with a real interest in pursuing a career in HR.
We are looking for a motivated, committed individual to join our small HR team, supporting and enabling the rest of the business to deliver our vision of a better future.
Working with our HR Lead, you will play a key role in supporting all our people processes throughout the employee life cycle including recruitment and selection, induction and onboarding, employee experience, and learning and development.
This is a largely an administrative role. However, you will have the opportunity to learn and gain valuable professional development through exposure to a range of interesting work, shadowing senior staff and being accountable for your own projects. We are inclusive of staff at all levels and welcome your thoughts, ideas and insights as we work to continuously improve how we do things. You will also be given the chance to join our Emerging Leaders Team, an exciting new initiative run by our CEO.
We will help you develop your skills and abilities throughout your internship; however, the successful candidate must possess a ‘can-do’ attitude and a growth mindset. You won’t be afraid to roll up your sleeves to get things done or work collaboratively with other teams and people as needed.
You will also be well organised, adaptable, and demonstrate good attention to detail. A resilient nature, as well as a flair for innovation and creativity of ideas would also be well regarded.
A degree in Human Resources, or other people or business-related subject is preferred. Previous administration experience would be desirable but not essential.
- 12-month full time internship with the possibility of a permanent role
- Salary of £18,000
- Structured programme of mentoring and learning
- Support for professional development (CIPD)
- Ability to work from home (equipment provided)
- Starting January 2022.
Location: Within a two-hour commute of Oxford. The role will be home based with travel to site or office meetings when requested.
