About the role 

 

As our Business Development Assistant you will play a key role supporting our Business Development function proactively managing our customer data and growing our client intelligence. 

 

Your main responsibilities will include 

 

·        Inputting and regularly updating customer data into our Customer Relationship Management (CRM) database to ensure it contains relevant, correct data 

·        Diarise follow ups to refresh and maintain customer data

·        Complete customer calls to check data accuracy and maintain relationships with current and potential customers

·        Follow up with digital communication in the form of emails and mailings as necessary

·        Passing any leads or further interest as a result of calls on to the relevant party  

·        Consulting with internal staff and our Business Development team to inform customer knowledge 

·        Producing regular and ad hoc reports from our CRM database as required

About you 

 

We are looking for a self-motivated and enthusiastic individual who takes pride in their work and is driven to get the details right.   With a mix of good administration and communication skills, you will be confident picking up the phone to both existing and potential customers and able to work on your own initiative.  

 

A previous background in general administration, sales, marketing, or BD admin would be helpful, as would experience of working with our CRM HubSpot. A background within construction, an ecological consultancy or related environment would also be beneficial, but not essential.

 

 

A full UK driving licence and use of own vehicle will be required as you will need to attend site, client, or company meetings from time to time.

Job type: Permanent, part time 3 days per week

Start date: As soon as possible 

Salary: Circa £27,000 (£16,000 pro rata for 3 days)

Location: The role will be home based
