We have been delighted with the response on our latest novel by Cain and Paul. The Kindle edition, was launched in June 2020. This was followed by a print edition and audio edition in September. The book received a positive review in the Financial Times and is still averaging 4.5 stars on Amazon after 160 reviews.

We were also thrilled when ARK Nature – the brilliant and influential Dutch NGO that pioneered rewilding in the Netherlands in the 1980s – requested 350 copies of the book to send out to nature-minded politicians and conservation professionals in their country.

Perhaps most satisfying has been the outreach of the book. For example, we were contacted by an entrepreneur in Mauritius who had been listening to it while mountain biking and saw an opportunity for collaboration on a wonderfully progressive and timely eco-tourism business model! On another occasion, a farmer asked Paul Jepson for his contact details after a valuable brainstorming walk. On entering his name into the farmer’s smartphone, the farmer exclaimed: “Are you the guy who wrote the book I’m listening to in my cab?”

We are pleased to announce that an illustrated version of the book will be published in November by MIT in the US and Icon Books in the UK. During the most recent lockdown we have been finding time to write photo captions and work with the illustrator to translate concepts into infographics. This has been more of a challenge than we expected, but the end product looks excellent!
