Ecosulis have completed a significant excavation and dredging project on Abberton Reservoir for Carillion and Essex & Suffolk Water.

Further to the successful installation of two value engineering solutions at Rockland Broad last month the AquaticEngineering / Ecosulis team returned to the site to plant up one of the installations with local provenance Norfolk Reeds (Phragmites communis / P. australis).
Reeds on the site had been visually obscuring views from the Rockland Broad RSPB bird hide and were collected and transferred to the new installations to complete the project.

The research and development departments of Ecosulis and Aquatic Engineering installed two of their value engineering innovations for the Broads Authority recently. The systems were deployed to control the serious erosion issues of two natural peat islands in the tidal Broad.
